Even though our conversions are all the same, the vehicle and the buildout prices are split up separately. This is to make sure you can customize your base vehicle with the colors, features, and technical specifications you’d like.

If you don’t already have a van, we’ll help you get one through our certified Mercedes-Benz fleet dealer partner.

Once you have a van, Loft Vans will convert it and manage hand-off or delivery.

Your production schedule completion/delivery date is secured by the receipt of your onboarding paperwork and nonrefundable deposit(s). Schedules are rolling and on a first come first serve basis.

No, our mobile office conversion is only compatible with 144" Mercedes-Benz Cargo vans, and the vehicle must be a 2019 model or newer.

No, we do not offer van customization. By designing our vans intentionally and with a standard floor plan, we keep production as fast as possible while also limiting overhead costs. This means that we can build your van in less time and without a semi- or fully-custom price.

If you would like to customize your van with an aftermarket partner, please note that any modifications will automatically void any Nest Vans warranties.

Once you’ve decided to move forward with your conversion, we’ll send onboarding paperwork. A $2,500 build spot deposit officially reserves your place in our production schedule, and a separate $2,500 deposit reserves your vehicle (if you already have a vehicle and/or are not buying a van through us, this second deposit does not apply).

To keep your spot, you’ll need to pay a non-refundable $2,500 build spot deposit and a separate $2,500 vehicle deposit (the second deposit only applies if you’re buying your van through us, and not bringing your own van for your conversion). This saves your place in our production schedule and locks in an estimated delivery date.

After the purchase of your van, the next payment is a materials deposit, equal to 50% of your conversion price. This payment is due before your conversion begins, usually around 90-120 days before your scheduled start date.

The remaining 50% payment is due on completion.

We recommend 2WD in almost every condition due to vehicle handling, cost, and MPG ratings.

However, if you’d like an AWD model instead, our floor plans are compatible with any 144” high roof Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cargo Van, as long as it is 2019 or newer.

Yes! All of our vans have hidden onboard Dometic cassette toilets that are easily accessible yet completely discreet.

Our vans include an outdoor shower.

We intentionally do not install a shower on the inside of the van due to costs, the amount of interior space that’s required, and the common complications that come with moisture buildup.

We don’t include a kitchen or cooktop in our vans due to issues with safety and odor. If it’s important for you to have a cooktop in your van, our conversions are designed with plenty of outlets to add appliances to your counter areas.

Our mobile office van conversion comes with an onboard cell signal booster, which works great for people using a mobile hotspot to keep their devices online. If you want to add true WiFi to your van, you will need to have a subscription plan with a carrier like Verizon, AT&T, Starlink, etc.

Yes! While we don’t believe you’ll need it, our vans are pre-wired for solar panels if you want to add them later. We don't offer customization in-house, but we would be happy to share a list of reputable outfitters and aftermarket builders.

Typically, the answer is yes.

In general, if you plan on using your van for business more than 50% of the time, you can write off the entire cost of your van in the year of purchase.

The annual limits on vehicle depreciation don’t apply to trucks, vans, and SUVs built on a truck chassis that are weight-rated by the manufacturer at more than 6,000 pounds gross loaded vehicle weight. This means that owners of such vehicles can take full advantage of two great tax deductions:

1. Bonus depreciation, and

2. Section 179

A new tax law called the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), went into effect in 2018. Among other things, it greatly expanded bonus depreciation. During 2018 through 2022, you may deduct in a single year up to 100% of the cost of most types of personal property you use for business with bonus depreciation.

It’s always an option to pay for your van in full, without financing, but qualified borrowers have two additional ways to cover the cost of their Loft Van. Here are more details on different financing options.

1. You can finance the purchase of your vehicle, just like any other loan or car payment, and pay for the conversion in full.

2. You can finance all of your vehicle and part of your conversion through Mercedes-Benz Financial. Mercedes-Benz will finance up to $80,000.00 total, requiring a down payment which would be used to pay for the cost of the van and a portion of the build conversion. Deposit amounts vary depending on the base vehicle you choose (2WD Gasoline, 2WD Diesel 4 Cylinder, or 2WD Diesel 6 Cylinder). Various terms and rates are available. Any outstanding balance is due and payable directly to Loft Vans.

Depending on certain factors, you may or may not be able to finance your van with a third party, such as a bank or other financial institution. Although we are not able to advise on financing options, we are happy to share information or documentation with your partner(s) as needed.
